Dear Prospective Families:
La Jolla Country Day School is known throughout the United
States and abroad as the choice for
families seeking the best education possible for their children. Country Day's
stimulating, rigorous and globally focused academic programs are second to
none. A creative and inclusive environment pervades the culture of our school. Country
Day prepares students for both college and a lifetime of intellectual
exploration and social responsibility. Simply put, by developing the scholar,
artist, and athlete of character, we are building tomorrow's leaders today.
There is an energy here that can only be experienced by
visiting. Listen to the young student playing Chopin in an alcove of the 36,000
sq. ft. Jacobs Family Library/Academic Center. Engage with our seniors as they
discuss the chemical origins of disease in an advanced science class. Be
inspired by the five-year-olds learning to identify plants in our recently
completed Kindergarten Complex. The pulse of our campus is inspiring on many
levels.
We are excited to have the opportunity to get to know you as
a family. Our DVD is an excellent first step in familiarizing yourself with the
