WAYS TO GIVE

There are many ways to give to Country Day.

CREDIT CARD/CASH GIFTS
Credit Card: To make a gift using your MasterCard, VISA, use our secure online giving site 24 hours a day or call the Development Office at (858) 453-3440 x119 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (You may also use American Express online only).

Check: To make a gift by check, please make it payable to La Jolla Country Day School, and send it to:

MATCHING GIFTS
The value of your gift may be increased if your employer participates in the matching gift program. To see if your gift qualifies for a match, please contact your employer’s human resources department.

APPRECIATED SECURITIES
A gift of long-term, appreciated, marketable securities helps save you taxes twice.  Such a gift provides an income tax charitable deduction and a capital gains tax savings.  It is often the best asset for donors to give, especially when making larger gifts. 

The most efficient method of donating appreciated securities is a direct transfer via DTC from your brokerage account to that of the school.  The form,  Making a Gift of Stock to La Jolla Country Day School, gives you the directions you will need.  If you would like the form emailed or faxed to you, please contact the Development Office at Country Day 858-453-3440 x 113 or email your request to cwalczak@ljcds.org.

PLANNED GIFTS
Planned gifts are gift arrangements to a beneficiary or beneficiaries named by the donor. A planned gift maximizes your giving potential and can even allow you to ensure your future financial security or that of a loved one.
