LJCDS Day of Giving

The generosity that LJCDS alumni show their alma mater through volunteerism, mentorship and philanthropy is immeasurable. The gifts of time, talent and treasure enhance and advance both the alumni program and the school as a whole in perpetuity. Alumni contributions to the Country Day Fund (CDF), LJCDS’s greatest need, not only demonstrate gratitude for your roots at LJCDS, but also a continued faith in your school’s mission: to prepare individuals for a lifetime of intellectual exploration, personal growth and social responsibility.

Alumni give back to show appreciation for their years here as students but also to ensure that the generations of Torreys following in their wake enjoy the same opportunities they experienced.

December 1 will be our inaugural True Blue Tuesday in conjunction with Giving Tuesday, our annual giving day. As alumni, we hope you choose to give back on #TrueBlueTuesday with a gift that is meaningful to you. As we always say, once a Torrey, always a Torrey!
“LJCDS is a school worthy of our continued support. When I think of how LJCDS impacted me as a student, I know that my philanthropic dollars will go to helping our next generation, because they are our nation’s future.” - John Meanley ’67
