Alumni Giving

The generosity that LJCDS alumni show their alma mater through volunteerism, mentorship and philanthropy is immeasurable. The donations of time, talent and treasure enhance and advance both the alumni program and the school as a whole in perpetuity.

Alumni contributions to the Country Day Fund (CDF), LJCDS’s greatest need, not only demonstrate gratitude for your roots at LJCDS, but also a continued faith in your school’s mission: to prepare individuals for a lifetime of intellectual exploration, personal growth and social responsibility.

Established in 2016, the Senior Class Gift marks the first gifts given to LJCDS by members of the graduating class. The collective gift serves as a show of appreciation for the people and programs that helped shape and support younger Torreys. In conjunction with senior class gifts, a match was established by a generous LJCDS family. Two class years still have an active match— Classes of 2016 and 2020— up to $50 per gift per year!

Alumni give back not only to show appreciation for their years as students, but also to ensure that generations of Torreys enjoy the same opportunities they experienced.

As we always say, once a Torrey, always a Torrey!
“LJCDS is a school worthy of our continued support. When I think of how LJCDS impacted me as a student, I know that my philanthropic dollars will go to helping our next generation, because they are our nation’s future.” - John Meanley ’67
