Tri-M Music Honor Society

By Caroline Becker, Middle and Upper School choral director and musical director
The Tri-M Music Honor Society recognizes the 2020 inductees and new student officers.
Congratulations to the 2020 Tri-M Music Honor Society inductees. The Tri-M Music Honor Society is an international program dedicated to the recognition of exceptional music students in Grades 6-12 that meet the music, academic, leadership and character criteria asked of every Tri-M member.

A Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.

Each student has demonstrated a passion for music in singing, performing and playing an instrument, in addition to earning consistently high marks. To be considered for induction into Tri-M, a student must have earned a grade of A- or higher for two consecutive semesters in their music class.

Students are inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society in the fall, and while gathering in person to recognize these students was not possible this year, we are proud of their accomplishments. Please join us in congratulating and celebrating this year’s inductees.
