We invite you to attend La Jolla Country Day School's open house for the Early Childhood Center (age 3–Jr. Kindergarten), Lower School (Kindergarten–Grade 4), Middle School (Grades 5–8) and Upper School (Grades 9–12).
 
Open House provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the dynamic LJCDS community. Meet our teachers and students, visit classrooms, learn more about the curriculum and hear firsthand how we inspire greatness for a better world. We look forward to meeting you! Please feel free to bring extended family and friends who might also be interested in exploring an independent school education.

Admission season starts on October 2, 2017 and priority applications are due February 2, 2018.

  • View a live Mock Trial presentation! Mock Trial is a competition, where students play the roles of attorneys, witnesses, bailiff and clerk to prepare evidence, develop arguments, and think on their feet in the heat of a spirited competition.
  • Meet alumni and learn about their experiences at LJCDS, their college or university and beyond. 
  • Enjoy delectable treats from SAGE, our in-house dining service.
  • Learn more about our college counseling philosophy, which is guided by Turning the Tide.
  • Watch performances by dance and choir groups.
  • Explore the many athletics and arts program offerings, including rock climbing, golf, lacrosse, art and technology, technical theater, graphic design, drama and much more.
