The student-led Hope Conference Committee is proud to announce that our third annual Hope Conference is taking place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, May 26th. The theme of the day is “embracing diversity with dignity” and consists of affinity group work and panel discussions, developed and led by Upper School students. In addition, this year we are honored to have Dr. Onaje Woodbine as our keynote speaker. He will present in the FFT for the Upper School from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and again for the 7th and 8th grade from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Any interested member of our community is welcome to attend the 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. presentation. For any additional information, please contact Robin Stewart (rstewart@ljcds.org).
