Illustrator Visit - Robin Preiss Glasser

On Friday, November 20, illustrator and loyal LJCDS visitor, Robin Preiss Glasser, will bring her magic to first through fourth graders via Zoom for the first author/illustrator presentation of the school year. After a long and hugely popular run as the illustrator of Jane O’Connor’s Fancy Nancy books, Robin began a collaboration with author and bookstore owner Ann Patchett and two years ago, LJCDS hosted the west coast launch of Lambslide. We are now thrilled to introduce the new book in the series, Escape Goat! For a 3-minute introduction to the book, watch this YouTube video made for people of all ages by Ann and Robin.
Teachers will Zoom in with their classes for the session with Robin on Friday, November 20, from 9:30–10:30 a.m. Home learners and interested parents can also join. Zoom links will be located in the learning plans. If you are interested in purchasing a book, you can connect directly with our local independent bookstore, Warwick’s. After our time with Robin, we will send off requests to her for personalized Escape Goat bookplates.
