Torrey Football Report - Week 2 @ Flintridge Prep

LJCDS – 48 Flintridge - 26 Sorry for the delay in sharing the results of our game! The boys played hard and every player who made the trip up to Occidental College in LA saw significant action and gained valuable experience. Brennan Goring '17 returned the opening kickoff 92 yards to give the Torreys the early lead. The game really opened up in the second quarter. With the Torreys up 21-12, the Sea of Blue stopped the Rebels on four straight plays from the 1 yard line. Playing complimentary football, Braxton Burmeister '17 connected to David Wylie '17 for a 99 yard touchdown on the very next play. At that point the Torreys never looked back as we finished the first half with a 41-12 lead. See below for more info about the game:
