Promoting Empathy and Acceptance on Mental Health Day
On March 4, our Upper School and Lower School Mental Health Days invited students to slow down, connect, and focus on well-being.
Upper School students in the Mental Health Education Flex helped lead the day by creating a video centered on the theme of empathy and acceptance. Their work encouraged reflection, understanding, and care for one another across campus.
To make space for that focus, there were no tests or homework on Mental Health Day. Students and families were encouraged to unplug and spend quality time together, reinforcing the importance of balance, connection, and caring for the whole child.
