Established in 2026, the LJCDS Arts Hall of Fame honors the artists, educators, and supporters who have shaped our school’s creative spirit. It celebrates members of the LJCDS community whose passion, talent, dedication, and influence have made a lasting impact in the arts and in arts education.
Through this recognition, we celebrate alumni who have pursued meaningful careers in the arts, faculty who have inspired generations of students, and friends whose support has helped the arts programs thrive. We invite you to help recognize these remarkable individuals by submitting a nomination. Recipients are nominated by the community and selected by the LJCDS Arts Council.
Qualifications
A person can qualify for the Arts Hall of Fame by falling into one of the following categories:

Performing Artist: A graduate of LJCDS who participated in the arts at LJCDS and/or is or was a professional performing artist, and has been out of high school for a minimum of 10 years.

Visual Artist: A graduate of LJCDS who participated in the arts at LJCDS and/or is or was a professional visual artist, and has been out of high school for a minimum of 10 years.

Arts Professional: A graduate of LJCDS who participated in the arts at LJCDS and/or is or was involved in the arts in a professional capacity, and has been out of high school for a minimum of 10 years.

Arts Educator: A retired LJCDS arts faculty or staff member.

Friend of the Arts: A loyal friend and supporter of the arts program at LJCDS.
Submit nominations by March 13.
The inaugural Arts Hall of Fame class will be recognized together with the LJCDS Alumni Awards recipients on Friday, August 28, 2026, during Centennial Alumni Weekend.
Inductions for the Arts Hall of Fame will take place every two years in conjunction with the LJCDS Alumni Awards. All individuals nominated for the Arts Hall of Fame will remain eligible for consideration in future cycles.
