Visual Arts Programs

The mission of the La Jolla Country Day School (LJCDS) Visual Arts is to provide an intellectual foundation through hands-on production in an array of media. We believe that arts serve as a catalyst for students to realize their creative potential in an environment where unique perspectives, talents and beliefs can flourish. Through student-curated exhibitions, museum partnerships, guest lecturers and artists-in-residence, students gain insight into the role of art in a global society. At LJCDS, the visual arts program develops confident, creative thinkers who form a lifelong connection to art.
