With your gift, LJCDS students achieve greatness

Philanthropy plays a significant role at La Jolla Country Day School. For 97 years, we have benefited greatly from the support of parents, alumni, grandparents, board of trustees, faculty, staff and friends who continue to invest in excellence and lifelong learning.

Your philanthropy is the distinguishing factor between a good school and an exceptional school, providing resources that support top-quality programs and excellent faculty. LJCDS is grateful for our community and invites you to learn more about ways to become part of this tradition of giving.

Your gift helps us fulfill our mission to prepare individuals for a lifetime of intellectual exploration, personal growth and social responsibility.

There are a variety of ways to make a meaningful gift, from credit card and stocks to Donor Advised Funds. Explore the right giving method for you.

LJCDS is special because of its people and is grateful for the dedicated community of donors who continue to make an impact.

I give back to Country Day first and foremost as an acknowledgment that the school had a meaningful effect on shaping the trajectory of my life and the person I’ve become.

  • Blue Bash

The annual event takes place in March and includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auction, dinner, raise-a-paddle and musical entertainment.
  • Tuition Assistance

Gifts to support tuition assistance allows LJCDS to enroll highly motivated and talented students of strong character, regardless of their ability to pay full tuition, creating a diverse and enriching learning environment.

  • Additional Priorities

There are numerous ways to support LJCDS, and with such a myriad of student programs, there is a funding need that needs you.
