The Community Service program was established 25 years ago to teach and inspire our young scholars to develop a sense of social responsibility, empathy and connection to their local and global community.
Friday, December 8 was a day of excitement for students in Grades 4–6. Due to a generous parent donation and the collaboration between the fourth-grade team and the library, LJCDS was able to host crowd-pleasing, award-winning author Jack Gantos.
