The library houses the Fayman Lower School Library on the first floor and the Middle and Upper School Library on the second floor of the Jacob's Family Library/administration building. The Lower School library hours are 7:30 a.m.–3:15 p.m. Monday–Thursday and until 3 p.m. on Friday. The Middle and Upper School library hours are 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Thursday and until 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Fayman Library serves our Lower School students, families and faculty with more than 17,000 books and programs designed to inspire and encourage a love of reading. The Middle/Upper School library serves students from Grades 5 through 12 and offers them the materials, both print and online, and the instruction to successfully pursue an idea, locate resources and evaluate information. In collaboration with teachers, lessons are designed to assist students so that they gain insight and knowledge through reading and research. The librarians offer book talks to encourage students to read deeply for class assignments and also for pleasure.
In summer 2015, the Middle/Upper School Library underwent a major redesign to offer more open and collaborative space as well as a designated quiet space, movable furniture, writable walls and a Genius Bar for tech support.
