Transportation
Transportation is available for Grades 1–12 students who wish to use it full-time, one-way only, and occasionally. Options include morning, afternoon, and late activity times Monday through Friday on school days. There is no transportation during school holidays or in the summer.

$3,060Includes one daily ride in the morning, afternoon, or late-activity route. -
Individual Bus Passes
$20 per rideBus passes can be purchased for morning, afternoon, or late activity buses for $20 per one-way trip by students who do not regularly use LJCDS’ transportation services.

Afternoon buses depart Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Late activity vehicles depart Monday through Friday at 5:45 p.m.
Any student not met by an approved adult at their corresponding bus stop without written prior authorization will be brought back to school and placed into after-school care for pickup. After-school care closes at 5:30 p.m.

Late Activity Signup
The late activity transportation option serves every regular stop. Vehicles leave Monday–Friday at 5:45 p.m. from the Middle School parking lot pickup/drop-off zone.
Each student or parent is responsible for signing up for late activity on the sign-up calendar between 6 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. every day that it’s needed. Requests after 2:45 p.m. will not be accepted due to driver scheduling constraints. If a student misses the 2:45 p.m. sign-up, the student’s parents/guardians will need to pick them up from school that day.
Arrival times depend on how many students sign up for each stop that day. This number may fluctuate daily. If there are no students at a scheduled stop, travel times will be reduced, and students will reach their stop earlier. It is illegal for drivers to use cell phones (even hands-free) unless the vehicle is pulled over and turned off. However, each driver has a cell phone available for emergencies and for passengers to use if they would like to inform their parents/guardians of their ETA.
