True Blue Tuesday

November 29 is True Blue Tuesday, our annual Torrey Alumni Day of Giving in conjunction with GivingTuesday. Torrey alumni around the world come together to honor the teachers, coaches, mentors and programs that made an impact by giving back in their name— while multiplying your impact!

All gifts given on True Blue Tuesday will be matched dollar for dollar* thanks to a pooled matching gift from current LJCDS families, and help unlock bonus funds generously put forth by fellow alumni— who are challenging YOU to join them and give back! Show your gratitude while making a difference in the lives of today's Torreys.

Who will you honor this #TrueBlueTuesday?

*gifts will be matched until the pooled matching gift is met
Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar! Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation's value. Check this online directory of matching gift companies to find out if your company will match your contribution to La Jolla Country Day School. If you have questions about your company's matching gift program contact us at officeofphilanthropy@ljcds.org.

"I give back to Country Day so that current students will be able to look back and feel that same sense of gratitude: for educators who listen, administrators who get to know you, and a community that supports your dreams every step of the way."

"LJCDS played a significant role in the person I am today. The ample amount of resources and support allowed me to thrive personally, athletically and professionally. I give back because I know I’m making a difference in the lives of Torreys like my son who is in second grade and many others."

"As a lifer, Country Day played an enormous role in my life growing up. The community gave me so many opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. I give because I want Country Day to continue to be a welcoming and supportive second home for others."
