Applying to the Lower School (kindergarten–Grade 4)

Applications open on September 1. You are welcome to review the Lower School sample checklists linked below. A detailed list is available in your child’s Finalsite application portal.
Schedule Your Child’s Testing
For Grades 3-4 only
The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) must be completed by February 1. Please visit the ISEE website or the SSAT website to learn more.Complete the Financial Assistance Application

Receive a Decision from LJCDS
Families who complete the application process by February 1 will receive an email notification with the admission decision in mid-March.
