Upper School Class Retreat Day - Grades 9-12

GRADE 9 - The 9th grade retreat will take place on campus and focus on coming together as a class and getting to know each other. Lunch will be provided by Sage, and students should bring a reusable water bottle. They should dress comfortably and wear sneakers. Students will meet in their advisory groups at 8:30 a.m. to review the day’s schedule of events, which will culminate in an Upper School assembly beginning at 2:00 p.m.

GRADE 10 - The class of 2026 and their advisors will participate in a service project in Balboa Park. The class will meet in their advisories at 8:30 a.m. before proceeding to the bus pick-up location. The class will depart by buses to Balboa Park and participate in several service activities. All 10th graders will return to campus for lunch, provided by Sage, and then meet with their advisor before the Upper School assembly beginning at 2:00 p.m. 

GRADE 11 - 11th grade’s retreat day, much like the 10th grade retreat, is focused on coming back together and bonding while participating in various service projects. Students will meet in their advisories at 8:30 a.m. before departing to several service organizations in San Diego. All 11th graders will return to campus for lunch, provided by Sage, and then meet with their advisor before the Upper School assembly beginning at 2:00 p.m.
