Congratulations to the new inductees of the Cum Laude Society. On Friday, February 23, 23 new members were ceremoniously inducted during the annual ceremony in the Amphitheater.
“Just as those of you who have publicly embraced excellence, justice and honor by being inducted into the Cum Laude Society,” Joe Cox, Ph.D., head of Upper School, addressed the students, “please make gratitude a bigger part of your life. Practice gratitude—live gratitude. Follow Ralph Waldo Emerson’s admonition to, ‘Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously.’ Thank you, inductees, for your hard work, your moral compass, your being part of something bigger than yourselves, and for your asking ‘why not be more grateful?’”
