The Chinese, French and Spanish Honor Societies recognize the 2020 inductees.
Congratulations to the 2020 World Language Honor Society inductees. The Chinese, French and Spanish Honor Societies seek to recognize high academic achievement and promote the study of French, Spanish and Chinese language and culture.
Each student has demonstrated a passion for their chosen language—or languages—in addition to earning consistently high marks. To be considered for induction into one of the language honor societies, a student must have earned a grade of A- or higher for two consecutive semesters in Honors or AP level courses and must not have earned a C during their language course of study. Many of these inductees have also spent time in countries where the language is spoken or have pursued language-oriented summer programs.
Students are inducted into the World Language Honor Society in the fall, and while gathering in person to recognize these students was not possible this year, we are proud of their accomplishments. Please join us in congratulating and celebrating this year’s inductees.
